Herbal tea benefits can be numerous. It can also be useful in reducing stress, preventing depression. Here is a simple herbal tea recipe for depression.

1. Depression Tamer Herbal Tea Recipe:

1 tsp St John's Wort

1 tsp Gingko Biloba

Place 1 cup of water into a glass or procelain pot and bring to a boil. Take the pot of the heat and add the herbals. Put a tight lid on the pot and let it steep for five minutes. Strain out herbals. Place in a cup and sweeten with honey of desired quantity.

2. Nervous Tension Tea: Find the helpful benefits of herbal tea and depression. For relieving tension and overcoming depression, you can try this recipe too:

1 1/3 oz. St. John's Wort

1 oz. Lemon Balm Leaves

1 oz. Valerian

Use 1 tsp of the herb mixture per cup of boiling water. Steep for 10 min., strain, sweeten if necessary. Drink a cup before going to bed each night for several weeks to calm nerves, lift depression, and help you fall asleep more easily.
